SHOWstudio Announces Pop-Up Exhibition of Illustration Archive

As well as the chance to sit on a SHOWstudio panel set.

Since it was founded in 2000, London’s SHOWstudio has built up an enviable collection of original fashion illustrations — both for its seasonal coverage and other special projects. All of the pieces from the illustration archive — which were each commissioned by Nick Knight — are set to be displayed at a new pop-up exhibition in London’s Covent Garden.

Over the course of the exhibition — which opens on October 18 and runs until January next year — a number of SHOWstudio’s illustrators will take up a residency in the space, allowing the exhibition’s visitors to watch them work. With Rob Phillips’s art featured on the pop-up’s windows, visitors will also be able to sit on one of SHOWstudio’s panel sets, which will be set out as a reading corner with a carefully selected selection of books and magazines available to read.
